This was another trip to nowhere. I got on my motorcycle, rode along the road towards Kuchinarai resp. Buakaow and followed the first interesting sign to find out where it would lead me …
I can not remember the exact layout of the trip and thus can’t say much about the correct distance. But I crossed the invisible border to the neighbouring province of Kalasin and guess, it was a trip of around 55 to 60 km.
Dies war wieder eine der Touren ohne Ziel. Ich stieg auf meinen Roller, fuhr auf der Straße in Richtung Kuchinarai bzw. Buakaow und folgte dann dem ersten interessanten Zeichen um zu sehen, wohin es mich führen würde.
Ich kann mich nicht an den genauen Verlauf der Strecke erinnern und kann deshalb auch keine Angaben zur Entfernung machen. Aber ich bin in der Nachbarprovinz Kalasin gewesen und schätze, ich bin zwischen 55 und 60 Kilometern gefahren.

Weiße Wände, rote Dachschindeln und blauer Himmel – die Farben der thailändischen Flagge … was für ein Zufall.Somewhere by the temple people were preparing some kind of food for a ceremony. Niemand hatte ihn gebeten, für meine Aufnahme zu posieren – aber trotzdem hat er die Aufgabe gut bewältigt.Old signs at the entrance of the small road leading to Wat Pha Sawan. Alte Schilder an einer kleinen Straße, die zum Pha Sawan Tempel führte.And this is for everybody who missed the small signs … Und das hier ist für jeden, der die kleinen Schilder übersehen hat …This image of a sitting monk honours ‚Luang Pu Thuad‘ – a revered Buddhist monk from Songkhla in the South of Thailand who later died in Malaysia (1682). Diese Statue eines sitzenden Mönches wurde zu Ehren von ‚Luang Pu Thuad‘, einem hochverehrten Mönch aus Songkhla im Süden Thailands, errichtet. Er starb später (1682) in Malaysia.The buildings of this temple were spread across a wide plot of land and that provided a totally different impression. Die Gebäude dieses Tempels lagen weit verstreut auf dem Grundstück und sorgten dadurch für einen besonderen Eindruck.I tried to find a way up to the top of that hill – but I couldn’t. Ich wäre ja gerne auf den Berg gestiegen – konnte aber keinen Weg finden.But I found this beautiful, golden Buddhist wheel … Dafür fand ich dieses buddhistische Rad …… and got a closer look at this sitting Buddha behind the bell and drum tower. … und konnte einen besseren Blick auf den sitzenden Buddha hinter dem Trommel- und Glockenturm werfen.I don’t know about the plans for the future – but at that time it was set up just somewhere between the trees and bushes. Keine Ahnung von den Plänen für die Zukunft – aber zu jener Zeit stand diese Statue irgendwo zwischen Bäumen und Büschen.Really not the best conditions to climb up further here … Tatsächlich nicht die besten Bedingungen um hier weiter nach oben zu klettern …… and so I went on and left the road behind me. Not knowing if it was a good decision though. … und so fuhr ich weiter und lies die Straße hinter mir. Obwohl ich nicht wusste, ob es eine gute Entscheidung war …I remember getting off the bike, looking back, looking to the right, looking to the left and thinking: No way back! So, left or right? Ich erinnere mich, daß ich abstieg, nach hinten, nach rechts und links guckte und dachte: Bestimmt nicht wieder zurück! Also – links oder rechts?I think, I followed this sign without knowing what it meant … Ich glaube, ich bin diesem Hinweis gefolgt ohne die Bedeutung zu kennen …The sun went down – shadows became loooonger … Die Sonne ging langsam unter – und die Schatten wurden läääääänger …Another well secured, trust-worthy bridge … Wieder eine dieser gut gesicherten, vertrauenswürdigen Brücken …Back in front of my house. Dirty bike and … Zurück vor meinem Haus. Dreckiger Roller und …… dirty feet. … dreckige Füße.
