Although I never regarded myself as a „fan“ of Pattaya I went there for a few days in July 2016.
I stayed on Soi Buakaow at the R-con Blue Ocean Hotel.
The tour was around 300 km long (return trip) and I spent 3 days in Pattaya.
Obwohl ich mich nie als ein Anhänger von Pattaya bezeichnet hätte, bin ich im Juli 2016 für einige Tage dorthin gefahren.
Ich habe im R-con Blue Ocean Hotel an der Soi Buakaow gewohnt.
Die Tour war insgesamt ungefähr 300 Kilometer lang und ich habe 3 Tage in Pattaya verbracht.
Interesting bathroom – glass wall with blinds … Interessantes Bad – Glaswände mit Jalousien …The pool had an interesting shape – but was not made for several people swimming side by side … Der Pool hatte eine interessante Form – war aber kaum dazu geeignet, mehrere Leute nebeneinander her schwimmen zu lassen …The small palms were real – but there was no beach around … Die kleinen Palmen waren echt – aber es gab keinen Strand in der Nähe …From outside the hotel looked pretty nice, „fresh“, new. The rooms were quite spacious. But a closer look revealed the age of the place. Von außen sah das Hotel ziemlich gut aus. ‚Frisch‘, neu. Die Zimmer waren recht groß. Aber ein näherer Blick zeigte dann doch das Alter des Gebäudes.I guess, the maids finished their job … Ich glaube, die Zimmermädchen sind für heute fertig …Looking from a terrace of the SIAM@SIAM Hotel towards the northern part of the city (Naklua) … Blick von der Terrasse des SIAM@SIAM Hotels in den Norden der Stadt (Naklua) …… and to the other side. Die Bucht von Pattaya.I am sure there will be more guests in the evening … Ich bin mir sicher, daß am Abend mehr Betrieb herrschen wird …Not really a beautiful view – but the location of the pool is kind of special though. Nicht wirklich ein schöner Ausblick – aber der Ort des Pools an sich ist trotzdem sehr speziell.Colourful wall on the terrace. Bunte Wand auf der Terrasse.Blue pool with blue water, blue tiles and blue mattreses … Der blaue Pool mit blauem Wasser, blauen Fliesen und blauen Matratzen …One of the cheaper cocktails here … still around 10 Euro! Einer der preisgünstigeren Cocktails hier … immer noch etwa 10 Euro!Nearly finished … Fast leer …Who knows – still too hot … or not enough sun anymore. Keine Ahnung – war es immer noch zu heiß … oder war da nicht mehr genug Sonne?Those ‚islands‘ looked reall comfortable – but it was really too hot in the sun. And I didn’t bring along any appropriate clothes. Diese ‚Inseln‘ sahen sehr bequem aus – aber in der prallen Sonne war es wirklich zu heiß. Und ich hatte auch keine passende Kleidung dabei.You don’t need a water heater to take a hot shower here … Hier benötigte man keinen Boiler um eine heiße Dusche zu nehmen …One of the more expensive places to live in Pattaya … Eine der teureren Unterkünfte in Pattaya …On the East side of Sukhumvit road – Silverlake winery. A nice valley where weather and soil provide good conditions to grow Thai grapes and produce some wine. Östlich der Sukhumvit Straße – das Silverlake Weingut. Ein schönes Tal, in dem sowohl das Wetter als auch der Boden gute Bedingungen für den Anbau von Weinstöcken boten.Red grape juice – it was as good as it looked. Roter Traubensaft – er war so gut wie er aussah.Built in a kind of ‚Thai style Italian style‘ … Gebaut im ‚thailändischen Italien Stil‘ …
