The group of ‚Phu Thai‘ people is the largest ethnic minority out of 8 ethnic minority groups in the province of Mukdahan. There are between 400.000 and 500.000 people belonging to that ethnic group. It can only be found in the Northeast of Thailand and Laos.
Every year there is a festival where they present their home made clothes, food and perform their own music and dances.
