Right now I’m receiving my small pension and once again I took the plunge to Thailand without knowing how it will end this time.
I’m living in a normal, rented room in Bang Saray in Chonburi Province and I could afford to buy a new, small motorcycle.
Despite the fact that Bang Saray is located only around 30 kilometers south of the infamous Pattaya it is very quiet and relaxed here. Although it’s controlled by the Royal Thai Navy from the headquarter in Sattahip that fact isn’t obvious in daily life. They don’t allow open prostitution like it’s obvious in Pattaya.

Inzwischen beziehe ich eine kleine Rente und habe erneut den Sprung nach Thailand gewagt ohne ernsthaft darüber nachgedacht zu haben, in welcher Weise es diesmal zu Ende gehen wird.
Ich lebe in Bang Saray in der Provinz Chonburi in einem einfachen Zimmer zur Miete und konnte mir die Anschaffung eines neuen, kleinen motorisierten Zweirades leisten.
Obwohl Bang Saray nur ungefähr 30 Kilometer südlich der berüchtigten Stadt Pattaya liegt ist es hier ruhig und entspannt. Der Ort steht unter der Kontrolle der Königlich Thailändischen Marine aus dem nahegelegenen Sattahip obwohl das im Alltag nicht sichtbar ist. Offiziell wird offene Prostitution wie in Pattaya nicht geduldet.
