Was wohl hinter der Ecke liegt …?Yes, Talad Boran Bangphli (that’s how it reads in Thai). And it means old, traditional market Bangphli. Ja, Talad Boran Bangphli (so wird es auf Thai ausgesprochen). Und das bedeutet soviel wie alter, traditioneller Markt in Bangphli.It didn’t look really ‚old style‘ – but at least it was a bit different from most other markets in Thailand. Es sah nicht wirklich ‚alt‘ aus – aber zumindest etwas anders als die meisten Märkte in Thailand.Looking down on the swans – from a bridge higher than a house … Blick auf die Schwäne – von einer Brücke die höher war als ein Haus …No, it;s not the roof of a house. The highway leads from Bangkok to the neighbouring province of Chonburi. Um die stark befahrene Autobahn zu ‚überqueren‘ musste ich erst auffahren – dann einen sogenannten ‚U-Turn‘ fahren und möglichst schnell die nächste Abfahrt nehmen. Die Autobahn führt von Bangkok in die benachbarte Provinz Chonburi.I couldn’t resist to stop and take this photo … Ich konnte nicht widerstehen, anzuhalten und dieses Foto zu machen …Then I saw this sign – without knowing what to expect. Dann sah ich dieses Schild – ohne zu wissen, was mich erwartete.Obviously an area not far from the airport. And the buildings here didn’t look like social welfare barracks … Ganz offensichtlich nicht allzu weit vom Flughafen entfernt. Und die Häuser hier sahen nicht nach sozialem Wohnungsbau aus …… although not all of them were in good shape anymore … obwohl nicht mehr alle in einem guten Zustand waren …… but maybe that made them looking even more interesting for me … aber vielleicht erweckte genau das mein Interesse.Hidden beauty in the bush … Verborgene Schönheit im Grünzeug …Beware of the elephant! Er hatte mich hergebracht – und fuhr mich wieder nach Hause.Not really looking like a Thai face … Das Gesicht sah nicht wirklich thailändisch aus …Obviously the threat of floodings was banned – time to remove the sandbags … Ganz offensichtlich war die Gefahr der Überflutung vorerst gebannt – Zeit, die Sandsäcke zu entfernen …Wat Bang Chalong Nok – but I didn’t stop.
