Today I went on a tour along Theparak road in order to check out the way to Wat Ratburana School. Heute machte ich mich auf eine Tour um den Weg zur Wat Ratburana Schule zu erkunden.
Quite easy to get there but it’s not just around the corner (around 17 km). The whole tour today was a bit longer (43 km). Relativ einfach, den Weg zu finden. Aber eben nicht mal nur kurz um die Ecke. Die gesamte Tour war mehr als 43 km lang.
Tour overview … Überblick …I always thought it’s a mosque. But much later I found out that it’s just the office of a steel company. Zuerst dachte ich, es würde sich um eine Moschee handeln. Erst viel später habe ich erfahren, daß es das Verwaltungsgebäude einer Stahlfirma ist.First sign of the school. Das erste Hinweisschild zur Schule.Here we go … Angekommen …Really nothing special here. The „gymnasium“ on the left. It’s a hall for meetings, ceremonies and indoor sports like badminton. Then, with the red roof, a building providing space for an IT class and to store some staff for ceremonies. The director and the teachers had their rooms in the building in the center (black roof, white walls). Then the green building – the small canteen. Nichts Besonderes hier. Das „Gymnasium“ links. Eine große Halle für Versammlungen, Feiern und Hallensportarten wie Badminton. Dann, mit dem roten Dach, ein Gebäude für EDV Unterricht und kleine Lagerflächen für Feierlichkeiten. Der Direktor und die Lehrer waren in dem Gebäude in der Bildmitte untergebracht. Und die grüne Kantine.Two buildings in the background for the classrooms. Die Pflanze heißt Plumeria oder Frangipani.Yes, it was the time of serious floodings … Ja, die Zeit der Überschwemmungen war noch nicht vorüber.Better be on the safe side … Da war man besser auf der sicheren Seite …An excavator on a pontoon … Man glaubt es kaum. Aber der Bagger auf dem Ponton hat sich durch ‚Baggerbewegungen‘ im Wasser tatsächlich fortbewegt …… followed by another one! Are they racing against each other? Und da kam noch einer! Ob die sich ein Rennen geliefert haben?And off they go … Und dann fuhren sie fort …Many small, narrow branch canals in this area. In dieser Gegend gab es noch viele kleine, schmale Kanäle.Streching deep inside more remote areas of Samut Prakan … Sie erstreckten sich bis tief in das entfernte Hinterland der Provinz Samut Prakan …But electricity is a „must have“. Aber ohne Elektrizität geht es nicht.The boat looks really tiny there … Das Boot sieht eher klein aus …Banana man is coming … Der Mann mit den Bananen kommt …And another „trustworthy“ construction … Und noch eines diese „vertrauenswürdigen“ Gebilde …
